Installation

Once you've selected and purchased your unit, it is time to prepare for installation.  The following checklist will help ensure that you are prepared:

  • Know your local requirements and apply for any necessary permits.

  • Hire contractors to complete any needed electrical or finish work associated with your project.

  • Ensure clear access to placement of your unit by moving furniture, securing pets and remove any snow that is blocking entry or on your roof.

Once you have taken all preparatory steps, schedule your installation date.  Installation dates are organized by homeowner request and service location.  Once a date is selected, your team will arrange for the pickup of your unit if needed.

On the day of your installation, the team will bring your unit and all associating piping needs into your home and install the unit and all associated venting according to the units' specifications and state building code requirements. This will ensure that your unit runs properly, is safely installed and passes inspection after completion.

After your installation is complete, your team will clean up material in the area, removing all discarded materials.  They will also review the use of your unit.
